Hi, bit new to all this so bear with me!
Was going to take my test this summer but picked up a nasty (and large) hernia which is being fixed this month. Now should I wait till next summer when weather is better or do my test in the winter? I won't be back on my feet till at least Oct.
Any advice much app Thumbs Up

The waiting list for a test is much longer in the spring/summer (because thats when everyone thinks about biking). If you can, i'd do it in the winter, but be prepared not to enjoy the test too much if the weather is bad!

I'd wait and do your test early next year, March/April time. I only waited a couple of weeks between booking and taking and got some lessons in during that time.

Nothing wrong with doing it in the winter. Did my DAS in March and there wasn't one day where we didn't have rain, sleet or snow at some point in the day; I like to think I learnt a bit more, under instructor guidance, on how to deal with those conditions.

Also, you might find training schools offer better deals in winter because it's that much quieter.
