...because the bloody insurance company won't change the bike on the policy!! Mad Mad

There's a whopping THREE WEEKS left on my insurance policy and according to my broker (www.roadsurebikes.co.uk), the under writer (Equity Red Star) refuses to cover me on the Ninja! I'm 28 with 6 years NCB FFS! So basically, I'm stuffed for 3 weeks. Was planning to swap bikes ASAP, but now it looks like I've got to wait until 3rd September when my policy runs out.

Bloody waste of space and time insurance companies!!!!!! Evil or Very Mad

Some insurance companies will 'accept' your NCB even if your old policy hasn't finished yet.

Ok, you waste a bit of money, but you'd probably spend that on 'admin fees' anyway.

Not really worth the aggro for 3 weeks really, is it? Roadsure have already lined up another under writer who'll insure the 636 for less than I paid last year on my CBR6RR, so I'll just renew with a different under writer. Of course, if I have time to call round, I may do that too... Wink
