www.fiinternational.com does the restrictor kit for them... search for ZX636

Kawasaki themselves probably sell one, chances are it will be ECU restricted due to this it won't run too bad.

Is it still under warranty? I cant see the warranty holding up with a non-kawasaki restrictor in place. Though the thought of a zx636 in restricted guise is pretty cool.

The restrictor will basically be; 4 washers in the airbox to prevent as much airflow going through and a throttle stop to prevent you from pulling the throttle back as much...

You'll still have full rev range and your top end will probably be 110 - 120mph. Although you'll probably wana take it out after you get used to it and want more power Twisted Evil

A non-Kawasaki restrictor kit or any other manufacturer for that matter will NOT void warranty as it's a law enforced kit for those with licenses for 33bhp... Unless stated/OR fitted by non-qualified technical at a motorbike establishment only then will your warranty become void.

Its cool because it means people who have newly passed can ride one, and since i'll be going for my test in the coming months, i'm liking the idea of a restricted 636. Personally, i'd get it restricted - send the certificate to my insurers, then rip the kit out after a couple of months, then just be damn careful not to have an accident....
