Hi All,
I wonder if any techie guys out the can help!
I have just bought a 2005 Gilera runner SP 50 but have notice that the lights remain on at all times & that there is no on/off or H/LOW beam switch and that the high beam blue light is blanked off .

Is there anyway that this can be rectified or converted by purchasing a switch as there is a wired connector beneath the blank cover and do I need to do anything else as driving around is not a problem but not to have an option of on/off and h/low beam seems pretty poor!

your thoughts and ideas would be gratfully appreciatted.

Thanks for the reply
but is it possible to wire in a high/low beam switch light & by changing the bulbs to double filament but obviously keeping them permantly on instead of a on/off switch is it illegal ? you see all the young idiots driving around with fluorescent lights under the belly pan, just a thought Ive seen newish speedfights with h/l beam lights

any idea would be grateful & CAN'T AFFORD TO CHANGE BIKE!

regards
gary

You probably could wire both bulbs on at the same time, but be weary that the bulbs on the bike are dim for a reason, as the engine dont put out much power.

I would rather fiddle the rear light so its brighter to be honest, as they are so dim on the open road.
