Gilera DNA 50cc GP Experience, 03 Reg and around 4500 miles. MOT not required until August 2006 and is taxed until October 2005.
I want to be as honest as possible and although people may not agree that is the best way to sell a bike or attract attention, i think that it is only fair. (Sorry for the essay but i want to get everything across).
The bike has a Technigas race exhaust and a Mallossi race variator, it had a new rear tyre and water pump in Jan 05, a new spark plug, plug cap, rollers and a carb clean in June 05. I have only ever used shell optimax oil and occasionally used red-ex to keep things clean on the inside. It has been very well maintained, however it has been unlucky.
There is currently some sort of problem with the bike in that when it is cold, it doens't run very well, it will hit about 26mph, and lose revs and won't pick up again until the revs are dropped. However, when it is warm it runs like a dream. This has led to the conclusion that the problem could be due to the Autochoke or a poor seal around a tube causing more air than required to be sucked in and the mixture not being as rich as it should be. As i said before, when its warmed up or if its a hot day, then it runs fine. There is also a Nail in the rear tyre, which isn't going flat because the nail has plugged the hole.
The reason for sale is that my insurance is about to run out and i don't want to re-new it so i'm selling the bike as it is. Up until this problem the bike has served me well and i use it 7 days a week.
A dealer told me yesterday that if i were to sell it private it should be around the £900 region. However, i need a quick sale and will Accept £600 or nearest offer. If you have an offer please suggest. (No smart arses, interested people only).
