Like the red and black colour scheme on the GSX-R. Very smart.

There's some good information there.

I do like the new GSXR 1000 and would like to try one eventually, I'm not sure about the 06 colours though. I look forward to seeing the 06 750 and 600.

I'm waiting to see what Yamaha and Kawasaki do with their 1000s.

I really like the idea of a VFR1000...
I like the practicality of the VFR, but I'm now addicted to the power of the litre engine of the thunderace...

a blackbird just isn't my cup of tea, although I'll be testriding one (as well as a VFR) in a week or so, when I get my arse in gear.

some reports have ben the VFR1000 is a V5, but it's more likely it's staying as a V4 from what I can gather

I've heard that Honda's new Fireblade could be getting a V5.

With racing going to 800cc doesn't that mean a new lot of bikes using that size engine? Also the EEC are tightening up emission regulations so I think that'll mean an end of a few carb models, so maybe some new injection engined bikes to come as well.

Or is that maybe that's next year then?

Oh did you see that Confederate thing?!!? Bloody hell!

Anyways I forgot to mention when I read it in MCN but in the next year or so all the big manufacturers are releasing a new line of sports 250’s and 450’s for the younger market. So expect some pocket rocket fun!!!

Can anyone get some news on it?

That was rumoured before the 1000RR came out and didn't happen to everyones disappointment. Honda have said that the Fireblade name should always be synonymous with an inline four configuration. That's not to say that they wouldn't bring out another V5 sports.

The rumours on various Honda forums are that they will bring out something like an 800cc triple sometime after the GP rule change.

I really like the new buell bmw-wannabe Smile

I always liked the buells, the idea of a more practical one for touring really appeals. Hard-luggage, belt-drive, wide bars and even a built in back rest for the girlfriend. I'm feeling old before my time here, but I'd love to take one across the states.
