Take off...

blue sidelights (or you'll be getting plenty of police attention)
neons (same as above)
flashing valve caps (They tear the core out of the valve, not something you want happening + they are nedtacular)

If you mean faster? theres several thing you can do, (not all of them adviseable mind)

Better, change the suspension for some better quality kit, new tyres, braced swingarm, higher pegs? not much can be significantly improved this side of a grand though...

Tarter... get it fully resprayed..

If your happy with it now, keep it maintained and leave it the hell alone.

Whatever you do dont expect it to do any favours once you come to sell it, and if you have any serious tuneing done dont expect to be able to sell it when your done (appart from to a breakers)

If you really want to enjoy the bike, take the ned rubbish off, get together some money, get a tent and some like minded mates and go rideing for a week...

my two pee.

Stop wasting money on a 125, do your restricted licence, then buy a bigger bike. Doing all that to your 125 is like dressing up a pig. The chicks would rather go on the back of a beasty 400

If he wants to mod his NSR why not? I did my RS and it was brilliant, get decent exhaust for it is what i'd do.

You'll go a lot faster without the disk locks. Wink

Doubt it's possible to get wavy disks for the NSR but it may be worth a look.
Also depending on your use it may be worth down-gearing it to give bigger bikes and faster cars a shock at the lights.

I'm assuming it's fully de-restricted?
Get some racing reeds on there - they're carbon fibre so stiffer than the plastic ones and apparently give you a bit more torque. They don't last forever like the standard ones though.

You could run it much leaner and fit a second radiator to compensate.

It looks like you're just after tartyness though, so get some screen trim and stick on stripes from Halfords and see how you get on.

Otherwise save your money for something altogether a bit better. If you've passed your test but still in a restricted period then I'd personally love a Honda VTR250 if you can find one.
