through many threads and posts alot is said about the conduct of mcn, now this is all new to me and this thread is just to clear my head the impression i get is that mcn is nothing but a full of shit paper not worth buying. myself a wednesday is a highlight of my week getting the paper i read it front to back and more some so answers on a postcard

i read in MCN yesterday that they think in 10 years there will be half the motorbikes there are now on the roads, i think thats bullsh!t tbh.

Their news stories are well, a bit 'sensationalist' and really don't have much depth. There is also far too much advertising in it. You throw away a huge portion of it when you bin the Bikemart section.

And considering over a month it would cost you £6.80, I can find most of the stuff from those 4 copies of MCN in the single £3.50 copy of RiDE I buy every month.

Infact, do we really need a weekly magazine for bikes?? Does the industry move that fast??

i have to say i buy MCN every wednesday morning and really enjoy it but i can see how false it is, the story on the front page this week was on page 3 last week in a small box. plus they just turned me down for a job, bastids

Yeh it's shite I won a comp. at Scottish Bike Show one year and the MCN jacket was XXXL. I'd to give it to may giant mate.

it used to be depressing to take out the bike mart bit and be left with about 3 pages of info, it never really did it for me altho some of the articals were intresting, if a little bias and extreamist

i agree on the selling point of the paper once thats out its not enough to wipe your ass with maybe we should kick something together on here for mcn to take notice of.
at 170 a week its a bit much really wen i can remember they put the price up they said how much more we would get more colourful more features all the rest they promise makes me wonder before this wat did we really get from em wen the paper was cheaper

Buy BIKE instead.
