I saw one of these models down in brighton in the summer and it had over 7k miles on it so they cant be that bad.
The way im looking at it. if i got 2 years riding out of it without braking down once i would be very happy ____________________ TS50 (sold) NS125F (sold) NSR125R-K (write off after 2 crashes) CG125 (nicked) XR125L-3 (Sold )-: ) DR125SM '11 (sold yay) XL125V '12 (In love with this bike) XT600E '04 (fun on the dirt) |

I havent actually heard of them mate. Ive been riding a Kymco hipster 125 for 2 years now, and never had a problem with it. Its a cool looking bike IMO, and its never had any mechanical faults, its easy on the oil, and is comfy over distance. I personally love it. Ive done 14k kilometers so far. i guess it will seem like shite once i get a CBR tho lol ____________________ My Bikes - - - Royal Enfield 500 with sidecar, VFR800, CBR600FX,

A 125 like that (assuming it's your first bike and you're not ancient) would cost c. £300 to insure garaged and c. £500 to insure on the street. Both TPFT.
Assuming it has a CG125 lump in it, you will get 100 mpg or better, even thrashing it. 200 miles for £8 in petrol can't be bad. So long as you keep it topped up with oil, the engine will run ad infinitum. Let it get too low and it will seize, just the same as any other machine to be honest.
Depending on how good the build quality is, it will have a plethora of little things going wrong with it, mostly electrical. Rewiring, replacing their crumby connectors with decent ones, sourcing obscure bulbs and parts, finding bits to match it, just generally having to do plenty to keep it running properly will be your staple. If you can do a little work yourself, it'll not be a bad machine.
If you have a phobia of spanners, electrical connectors and replacing bits which drop off, then I'd not recommend a Chinese bike.
The bits do stop falling off after a while... Who knows, that one might be better quality than mine. ____________________ I must not be a troll...
