You won't be able to find a lot of those very easily. So long as you treat it like it is, a simple stepping stone, and don't burn too much money you should be okay.
A moped is never going to be a sportsbike. It might be clarted about with plastic and look like a minature version of its bigger brothers, but at the end of the day, it's a 50cc two-stroke, capable of doing 45-50 mph (derestricted) tops without blowing up if you sneeze at it. Don't forget you'll wanting to be selling it in a years time. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Ric, that would be the TZR50
I can really very strongly recommend the Motorhispania RX50, or the Peugeot XR6 (both the same bike), because 6 months on and i have had no real problems, im not gonna bother telling you how fast it goes, because that will start a fight but de-restricted it can go qute quick.

Three of the above bikes run on the same engine. Only the Derbi uses its own, and its pretty much identical to the others.
Top speed you'll see about 50mph, but it will indicate a bit more on the clocks. They all cost a similar price, but will depend on its age, condition, mileage etc. You really dont want to spend too much on a 50.
They can all be de-restricted, but at 16 you'll be riding illegally. Very few pay attention to that law as these things are stupidly slow in a restricted state. Pulling out at a roundabout could be scary when you have no power at all. ____________________ Aprilia RSV Mille R Edwards Replica - Aprilia RS250 - Suzuki GSXR600 Supersport Race Bike |

you would be screwed if the accident was your fault, if a guy was injured because the accident was your fault and that guy could not work anymore.... you would be sued thousands....
In my opinion, its not worth the risk... ____________________ la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, |
