Tank cover fitment issues

ok guys basically i have a massive dent in my tank, which has been filled and smoothed over.
Rather then get the tank sprayed, i have considered fitting a leather tank cover as a cheapish alternative.

Bike is a VFR400 nc24, there are plenty of other VFRs on ebay, but does anyone know what other bike tanks would have covers that would fit my bike, if that makes sense?

ie would a vfr750 tank bag fit my tank?

any help appreciated!
