The pyramid pillon seat cover on my ZX has started to have a problem, i leave my bike with a cover on and the the recent rain has caused my cover to take some of the painted finish away from the seat cover (not the kawa paint job).its not the actual paint itself but the clear laquar over the top, i'm going to clean it up the best that i can and then put a new layer of laquar over it, but i am unsure what sort of spray laquar to use or how to do it, anyone had to do anything similar to this before?

Depends on what the original finish is, hardly anyone uses Cellulose Laquer these days because it's basically illegal most places except the UK & Nigeria....
I'd just refinish the entire piece...

unfortionatly the finish that has come off has come away in patches, how would you finish the whole piece

Sand all the clearcoat off & respray it.
