I expect it was a 1000cc sports bike of some kind.

Doubt it's a fake, been around for a while as well.

I couldnt understand what was happening at first, it did look totally fake. Just didnt look right.

Reckon he was locking the wheel with the brake, or spinning it up?

Been around for ages. The clocks are identical to my ZX6R so possibly a ZX9R as the front seems to come up a bit easier than my ZX6R.

Also I reckon it's turbo'd or supercharged, Soon as he hits like 5k rpm it just goes wild, now I've never ridden a ZX9R but I'm pretty sure they're not like that.

It appears we have another ghostrider...Dunno how he actually managed to get through some of the traffic, some of it actually did look too narrow for a bike to get through without owning the car...

The clip's been around a while.

My downgeared (and mildy tuned) zx9r pretty much does that - and on cold tyres or a shit surface will spin up like that as well.

I was expecting some mad nutter popping wheelies through a town center. He was only spinning the wheel up, some were a bit crazy though yes. Probably was a bit icey/cold too, cos after a few slides the tyres would have been pretty warm and /shuold/ have wheelied rather than slid.

Ffs this is why it's good for people to point out something is old and has been posted before so we don't spend half an hour downloading a video we already have.

Yeah I know G pointed it out and I thought I knew it was this but what dom said made me think it wasn't.

Loply in what way did it look totally fake???.

maybe its somthing to do with someone not wanting to spend a couple of hours going through all the topics in the video section, downloading all the movies to finally get the right movie and post a link to the same video!

i didnt go through every page of the section to see if it had been posted a year ago... no idea what the topic would be called to sstart off with so i couldnt search!

i hadnt seen it b4 and thought i may share it ffs

Depends what tyres he's got on there.

With the race tyres I had on my zx9 they warm up very quickly, only a few little slides needed.

However with something like the continentals that are on my trx at the moment, I suspect they would easily slide if I had them on the zx9, especially if the bike was leant over a bit when I pulled the power on.

I would like to point out that whilst that video was definitely filmed in Athens, it wasn't me and I don't ride like that!

.. dammit! Twisted Evil

Couldn't figure out where it was to begin with but then I saw an "EKO" petrol station (Greek petrol) and started recognising buildings hehe Mr. Green

That bike went chuffin' crazy over 5000 revs :o

and I agree - some of those gaps seemed WAY to small to fit through, surely?

Confused ? I wasn't flaming you, I was talking for the benefit of the people who usually jump in and attack someone because they say it's been posted before like G did.

For the people saying the gaps looked incredibly small then of course they will because your not in control of the machine so you have a false perception of the surrounding space. Like being pillion and you think, christ we can't make it through there?

Do a search on here for NYC bike video. Bicycles going through new york in rush hour for more of the same small gap madness.
