Hey, just wondering if my bikes de-restricted for the CBT will they know/care? Also, if i bore it out to 80cc is it still considered a 50 or will it be illegal? Will it pass the mot if im 16?

Heya, just done my cbt this saturday. Mine is derestricted and does 60, bloke didnt really care. Turned his eye. But more fun for me and him when out on the road riding part.

As for the bore. It wont pass the mot, you will have to take it off and put the standard one on for that. What bike you got then?

The MOT is not dependant on age, for example legally a 16 year old could push a Hayabusa (wouldn't want to try it though) to the garage and get it MOT'd.

Why do people give wrong information?

It won't fail the MOT if you bore it out to 80cc, its not going to effect the saftey of the bike and they don't ask how old you are. As long as the bike is road worthy it will be fine
