I do all my minor stuff like oil changes fitting stuff. garages do the serious stuff like valve clearences. I belive they should start teaching this stuff in school in the u.k
They do Drivers Ed out here in the u.s (my little bro doing it) And they teach you basic maintanance (spelling) skills. driving skills every thing. i think its a good idea cause it teachs people to treat there viehicles with a bit more respect.
I change oil every 500 miles i can do that out here cause oil is like $1 a litre for the cheapo or $3 for the good stuff so its easy to keep the oil nice and clean here.
