I need help to fix my brakes; I rode off tonight with a disc lock still on my front wheel and it hit the brake caliper quite hard.

Please don't laugh.

Now my front brakes don't work. There is no visible damage and no sign of leaking fluid, but the brake lever can be pulled right back to the handlebar and the brake doesn't operate. If I squeeze the lever 5 or 6 times it then works - but only once - and stops working again.

What do I need to do ? Please help I need to use the bike a lot this coming weekend !!

(Bike is a Honda 900 Fireblade and it is the RH caliper)

Check for cracks and brake fluid leaks, and if there is none, try bleeding the brake. It's possible you might have loosend the banjo bolt? Or worst case senario, cracked or bent the caliper, causing air to leak in where the brake fluid should be. if you have this, you will have to get a new caliper, OOCH!
