Pulled once in two years on my bike; never been stopped in ten years of driving a car.

Hi

Pulled over loads of times riding a bike (never for any actual offence). Been pulled over once driving a car (headlight bulb went and being near Chrimbo they were after any excuse to pull people up for a breath test).

Seems to depend on the area you are in.

All the best

Keith

Only ever been pulled over by the plod once (in 14 years for the car and 5 years on the bike), and that was in the car. Car had one of those "Vehicle Watch" stickers (anyone remember them) that was voluntary and made your vehicle more likely to be pulled over between midnight and 6am.

Only been pulled twice on the bike in about 2 years. But the 2 times I was pulled were on the same night within 20 minutes of each other both for no real reason other than spot checks.

On my 50, I used to get stopped on average about twice a week, sometimes 3, mainly cause the bike looked like a complete wreck!

Notched up 8 points cause of that bloody bike too!

Few times on the 125, but something like once a month.

Then after that, very very rarely, although I did get stopped twice in one week on the same stretch on road, for doing 51 in a 30 on both occasions! 6 points but kept my licence as I pleaded undue hardship (phew!).

In the last 6 or 7 years I've been stopped a couple of times in my car, but that only cause I look younger than I am, and driving a big sports car it looks like I nicked it! Mad
