 |

Due to a dumb laspe of concentration, after a long ride I had an unenforced lay-down of my bike (a Honda CBR600F 2004). The damage isn't serious but I have now got a dent in the rear silencer. I wouldn't mind so much but it ruins the bike's overall immaculateness and may be an issue if I sell it.
I would first like to know if a dent is a problem, beyond the annoyance. The bike still appears to run fine but could it indicate internal damage?
Also, for those that have replaced their standard bike cans, would an OEM replacement be worth the money (Are they extorniate?) or should I consider an aftermarket one instead (ood excuse I s'pose). I'm thinking more about the selling-on aspect rather than the obvious benefits to go aftermarket.
Numpty questions but all answers appreciated. ____________________ Honda CBR600F4

I can second that one.
You actually wait until you dent your can 'so' you can buy a new one.

ok, ok ...I get the point!!
I'm going to do some forum searching for advice but if you know any recoms for a non-racing i.e. road legal slip-on for my bike, feel free. Micron Delta seem to have a good value reputation for the money.
Once fitted, does the bike need to be dynoed? ____________________ Honda CBR600F4

A full system, yes. A road legal slip-on, doubtful. That is, unless you want to do it for kicks anyway. ____________________ I must not be a troll...
