www.insuremce.com (or maybe .co.uk, I forget) is good for me.

However it depends very much on your situation. I wouldn't ignore those that don't have websites either, a few calls could save you hundreds of pounds.

I wouldn't bother with online quotes, just get a copy of MCN and ring everyone in the back. The online quotes might give you a rough idea of how competitve the insurer might be, but ring them up to get a proper quote as you can't haggle through your browser! Quite a few companies like to be quite competitive and will try their hardest to beat your best quote, which you can't do over the net. Don't assume the first price they give you is their best, tell them what you've been quoted so far and they may be able to beat it for you. Carole Nash quoted me something like £550 to start with, but then managed to reduce it to £315 to beat another quote. If I remember correctly, MCE were quite good too, as were Telebikes.

I have always found telephone quotes to be cheaper than online ones.

I'm with MCE at the moment, but the company they're using to insure me (MCE are brokers) won't insure me on a ZX-6R!! So unless I keep insuring my NC30 until December the 9th, I won't get my 1st years no claims bonus!! Evil or Very Mad

I'm probably going to go for the cheapest insurance on the 7X-6R (£1573 Shocked so far; MCE quoted me £1917 Shocked Shocked ), keep paying the insurance on the NC30 until December, then try and swap the 1 years NCB onto my ZX-6R policy.

I actually had to haggle to get MCE to 'match' thier online quote that they gave me (it was half the price of other places though, but hadn't gone through on thier system yet, so they had to do me a new one) Confused.

I use internation breakdown for my breakdown, so don't use thier own. Costs a bit more, but highly reccomended from me Thumbs Up.
