Having driven passed a big sign advertising this every time I come back from work I thought I might as well go along and check it out. Annoyingly even though we got there at around 3pm (the racing had been on all day) the tight gits wouldn't let us in for less than a full days price. Well sod that, you can still see a fair bit without going into the paid area, so that's what we did. Middle Finger Razz Middle Finger

I took roughly a million pics in the hope some might come out ok, and here are some of the least bad...

Old school motocross, excellent! Very Happy

Absolutely love old school enduro machines, have such character to them. Sound fantastic too.

Nice pics. Thumbs Up

Damn right. Mr. Green There was a pretty wide selection of bikes from flashier more modern stuff to very old school stuff, both 2 and 4 strokes. Screaming 2t's do sound great but that lovely deep sound of a 4t race bike... mmm. Laughing

Yep, it was. Like I said in my post, you did have to pay. It was a tenner for the day which is fine if you get there in the morning and plan to stay all day but sod it for a couple of hours. All of the pics I took were the ones outside the paid area, so there was still a fair bit to see without going in.

It's a yearly event so I'm definitely going to do it properly next year.

Edit: Didn't realise you were just up the road from me Garth, will have to go for a ride sometime. Thumbs Up

Langrish, near Petersfield. It's on farm land and I think they only do events as opposed to trackday type stuff. Pretty sure there's some more racing on there in the next couple of months at some point.

Edit: One on Oct 18th... probably won't be so sunny for that one.

Even better! Lots of people crashing is always fun to see.

I love playing in the rain when offroad. Sliding along is seriously fun, and getting the back end out speedway style will put a smile on anyones face, even if you're covered head to toe in mud. Very Happy

Laughing Yep, true. I will just have to be careful about the water/mud/camera combination instead of the current dust/camera one. It was so dusty this weekend that my bike managed to get a thick coating in the stuff despite being a few minutes walk from the track, and behind a huge truck. Neutral Just need it to rain now otherwise I'll have to clean the thing. Laughing
