You stupid bastard! I was just about to change lanes (I was just about to do my lifesaver and move) when you decided it would be funny to do about 80mph on the white line... The last thing I wanted to see was your naked back as your TShirt flapped up in the wind... Hope you come off you redneck idiot, along with the rest of your litre bike riding posse who think it's cool not to wear any gear at all and dangerously overtake learners... My only regret is not booting you into the nearest car as you passed... Twat

That is all

If you didn't like that, don't go on the track! Rolling Eyes

seriosuly though, there is no room for that kind of stupidity on the roads. Not worth thinking what could have happened if you had moved over a split second earlier!

It makes you appreciate why we do life-savers after all.

If your indicator was on then fair enough.

Although I often ride to the far right of my lane.

So he was overtking, and you nearly overtook, which would have been side swiping him off of the road?

Sounds like what my van driving mate did to me! Writing of my £5k bike and breaking me for a while! So clever time to overtake huh?

And seeing that you are probably a learner, and the other guy is riding an R1 I would guess he is prob more advanced than you so I wouldnt bother making stupid ill educated threads like these!

Someones angry they dont have an R1 and a T-shirt!

Where did I say I was indicating to overtake? I was getting in my lane ready for a right hand turn if you must know.

Could go either way this one - its 50-50 as to whether your obs are off or he was riding like a tit. Just about to do your lifesaver? So you had been checking your mirrors then?
Can't say. However, what I can say is that it's not just litre bikers. I frequently ride in shorts and a tee on my 125 Very Happy

I'm not really stereotyping... I'm not that stupid... He just really pissed me off, I have taken my position on the road for a long time... And he nearly fucking clips my peg because he wants to do 80/90 in a 40MPH zone on bad roads where I'm having to swerve to avoid potholes already...

You get some right nob ends on big bikes.

I am on a 600 and get the same, done my lifesaver and will spot the cocks.

Just because they ride an R1 etc dont mean they are a good rider.

Means they can afford an R1 that is all.

The insurance statement is pointless. If you ring around the companies someone will insure you on an R1 eventuially. Its just down to money Not experiance.

My dad knows this guy at his work who has an R1 and rides like a proper nutcase.

Just because you have an R1 does not mean you can ride it responsibly or well.

Goes for anybike really.

I'm not commenting on the above situation, but this morning as I was going over Waterloo bridge and there was a guy on his Yamaha 1200 touring thingy bike, girlfriend on the back, pootling along right in the middle of the lane going down to the underpass. Maybe I did overtake him a little close, BUT, I think the reason he was pissed off with me was I surprised him. He had not been lookied in his mirrors for the whole length of the bridge and I really mde him him jump as I came up to him and went past him.

At the end of the day it was 50:50 - I went past a bit close, but he hadn't been checking his mirrors, (too busy taking in the view), which in the rush hour is not really sensible.

First of all. all of us make a stupid mistake at some point while riding i can forgive the R1 rider( for the driving error) and the touring bloke scare rer luckily you all got away with it what I cant forgive and never will is bikers who ride in t-shirts and shorts and trainers watching a mate come off today because of a stupid van man made me think. Even at 20mph ur gunna get hurt very badly with out the right gear. its fully armoured jackets and full leathers and boots for me even if it is 200 degrees whilst wearing them
