OK, I tested an R1 and a ZX-10R on Saturday and those babies are MENTAL!!!!!!! Shocked Very Happy

I don't think I'm quite ready for one of those, so I test rode a ZX-6R yesterday, and that was mental too, and with the 0% finance it works out at £135 a month so...

...unless anyone can pursuade me otherwise, I'm going to buy one at lunchtime! Thumbs Up Wink Thumbs Up

It's £6300 and I haven't rung around yet, so I may get it for less.

The thing is the 0% finance offer finishes this week. I'm taking out a mortgage soon, and they may not lend you as much if you've got a loan. So the 0% finance is the deal maker really...

Include the cost of the bike in your mortgage under "home improvement". Thumbs Up

If you like it, can afford it and cant wait for prices to drop with the new 2006 models coming soon then buy it.

Just think that when prices drop because manufacturers want to clear old stock out asap the value of your bike will drop like a stone.

This is from Kawasaki's website. It's under of all things 'K -Care' so it's not suprising you couldn't find it.

I'd be tempted to go for the ZX if I was ever to be swayed back into mainstream biking (don't think I've ever actually dived in, rather than be clawed back). But I'd buy second hand, T&T bikes, as to not loose so much on the depreciation. 0% finance is a good tempting agent mind.

You 'got it down to £1500' Shocked I dread to think what the quotes started off as, that sounds an awful lot of money just for insurance.

Yeah, My current insurer quoted £1917 and I've made 4 other phone calls so far. It just means spending 20 minutes on the phone each time, and I'm really busy at work at the moment. I've got the most of the insurance companies telephone numbers from White Noise's XL spreadsheet so it's just a matter of calling round now Rolling Eyes

Congrats on getting my dream Smile bike - want to wait till I'm not on a restricted licence before I get one - wont be new tho Crying or Very sad 2001 model I expect. Anyway back to my point check out todays MCN and their table of insurance quotes and how the price of insurance is going down as car insurance brokers jump on the "bike bandwagon" e-bike insurance worked out cheapest and Bennets were third cheapest. Happy riding Thumbs Up

I know this is going to sound wierd, but I just can't get my head around Kwak green, and I don't like the blue, so titanium it is. Gonna design/buy some tasteful decals for her though.
