Nothing stopping you trying it on though. Write them a letter and send a photocopy of the V5 with "Taxation class. Bicycle" circled. Might get lucky.

I always use the bike loops, no traffic wardens ever hassle any of the bikes parked there.

In Chester everyone (bikers) park at the bicycle lock ups opposite the town hall and the police etc turn a blind eye to it. *Shrugs* Maybe Chester coppers are decent coppers?

But you shouldn't really do it.
