This is about as technical as their explaination gets:

Qusetion: What is / does a powerbox ?
Answer: A power box will give NO extra topspeed.
It will give a slightly better acceleration.
And it will give a quicker / better responce to the trottle.

The power box is mounthed on the intake manifold.

For performance is does not matter which power box you choose.
It depends on the space you have to fitt the powerbox, and which brand you like Smile)

Looks like a con to me.

They look tarty, that's about it. They used to put 'power bottles' on small 2-strokes in the 1980's, they didn't do anything either. Just makes your airbox a bit bigger, if it is properly designed in the first place, it will make sod-all difference.
