Nice Thumbs Up

Still not sure whether I should fit a can to my SV or just leave it standard.

Remus exhausts do sound great on any bike but even better on a v-twin I imagine. Thumbs Up

You know you want one. Just think that your SV could sound as cool as Mikes. Wink

Cool, there's 3 black SV owners on BCF then. Will be catching up with ZXR 400's at this rate. Thumbs Up

£240 for a new carbon can is a great deal. I'm probably going for a stainless Micron for mine, just a case of waiting 'til the pipes arrive courtesy of Mr Ebay. Full system... can't wait. Twisted Evil

£240 for a carbon can is a bargain? Sound normal price to me for a new one. I'll stick to buying second hand ones for £40 I think, (though I have yet needed to buy a can for a bike).

Well I'm only going on the prices I've seen from scanning around lately, and was told £300 for a road legal carbon Micron can yesterday (not that I'd consider paying that, or even £240 tbh) and afaik Remus tend to be thought of as slightly higher quality.

My concern with buying a carbon can for a twin is that they have a tendancy to be damaged by the power pulses far more than on other bikes. A mate of a mate went through 3 carbon cans (replaced on warranty) before being offered a Titanium replacement. Hopefully the Remus cans hold up better than that.

Should'nt be to bad, guess it depends on how you ride. Usually last around 18months or so before they come brital(sp) etc.
