Just been looking at my logbook (v5c) and under 'Body type", it has my zxr400 down as 'scooter combination'. Is this right?????????

Sounds a bit strange being classed as scooter combination when its a 400cc sportsbike

No, it's not right. My logbook says 'MOTORCYCLE' for Body Type.

If you change it to that in Section 7 and send it off to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BA, you should be able to change it. I've still not got around to changing the make and model on my V5 from the mistaken identity the import company wrote on the registration application. Rolling Eyes

Well, if it was incorrectly registered to begin with by the importer, like mine was, it could happen. You'd have to be a grade A retard to register a ZXR400 as a scooter combination though. Eh?

You didn't buy it from DK motorcycles did you? I believe they have a bit of a reputation for cocking up their imported bikes, things like headlights still pointing the wrong way.

I was thinking the same thing. I have motorcycle on mine but it's a uk bike.

Then again, my ns125 was an import and that said motorcycle too. Confused
