I need to get some hoses for my VFR 750 as a they are definately a bit squidgy, but I need to find somewhere when i can get them as cheaply as possible.

Does anyone know any mail order sites online with good prices?

So far I've tried brakes4u.co.uk and MandP.co.uk.

you could try e-bay, i found loads of them for the zxr on there and they would be quite cheap normally.

They have an online shop with very fast service. I ordered mine thursday afternoon, and they arrived friday morning.

Plus, Goodridge hoses are American, and HEL are British! Wink

Goodridge stuff is made down in Yeovil I think, and most of their products are not legal in the USA (brake fittings must be swaged I think, not the bolt together things we get away with).

FWIW I was talking to a guy recently at Squires' who'd fitted stainless lines to his bike (same bike as mine so I was asking about his mods as I need some). His only comment was that the HEL line that was supposed to be for the bike was a little too short. Only way to fit it was to use a different routing and miss a bracket. He said it was a lot of hassle and he wouldn't be using them again. He had the Goodridge lines on the front and these fitted ok.

Also, again FWIW, I've looked around for some lines and came across Nippy Normans for prices, although I've been told Busters prices are competitive.

Their website is .com, and if you click UK - it gives you a link to UK distributors. its very US orientated.

HEL is in exeter...

Although looking at the goodridge site, it does say they are based in the UK but they do have a number of US sites...

I'm looking at them now. Excellent prices. £70 for a front and back kit with stainless fittings for the VFR. Just emailed them with a few questions, and then i'll order them.

I have Hel Braided Hoses on my bike, I think they came to around £40 with the discount. They actually make them to order for you. Very Happy

Give Simon at HEL Performance a ring on 01392 811601.
Tell him Stuart at TFR Racing told you to call, you should get a 25% discount.

I got Goodridge lines, twin front set up and rear lines all bolts etc for £68 for my RR.
They have a distributer rite near me I can try to find you the details if you want mate.

Sorry about the busters thing. Only got a promo e-mail from them last thursday which inc special offers on brake lines.
