i have just bought this bike and it refuses to start in the early morning i have to sit it in the sun till bout 10:30am to get it to start then it will only rev to bout 1000rpm even with full acceleratorand misses badly for bout 5mins then will rev freely. has anyone experienced this before? once it warms up it runs beutifuly its just a pr*ck to start Question Sad

have you tried using the choke ?

Give it a full service and see if its any better ...

Possibility the valve clearances have tightened up - notorious on the 600's and 900's - this would cause bad starting ...
