Hi,

I have had a look at some other posts on alarms and see that the datatool system 3 is pretty good. I have also looked at a Cheetah alarm system and the Sola alarm/immobiliser. I was just wondering which one is the best to get?

I was looking on ebay, here are the links to the ones I was looking at;

Sola Alarm

Datatool System 3

Cheetah Alarm

Any reccomendations? How are the prices? Are there any other good alarm systems?

Cheers!

well for the sola-alarm i got one of them, but they have rejigged it a bit. If the components inside are the same then i'd recommended it as a cheap alarm. Its recognised by insurers now i think, but at grade 2 or sumin so u dont really get a discount. if you get it tho solder the main connections as my alarm went wrong after the scotch locks rusted!

I have had a look on www.mandp.com and I am edging towards the Sola Alarm. It should do the job perfectly, and not too cheap nor too expensive.

I was just wondering, is it easy to fit? Also how sensitive is it to tilting and shocks etc?

Cheers!
