Hi chaps i have a honda nsr 125cc and i was wondering how to pull a wheelie, i know my bike aint the most powerfull but its still possible aint it???

As u can tell im new to gears etc.

Whilst im here aswell can any one giv me a link to a site that sells sport exhast for nsr125.

Me and my mates have all had NSR's. And yes, it is possible to pull a wheelie, but its very difficult as you dont really have the power. You really need to be good at wheelies anyway before trying it on the NSR.

In order to do one, i think you will need:-
1st or 2nd gear
10mph
Peak revs
Slipping the clutch
Yank up on the bars
And once you are up, you need good balance and throttle control.

Disclaimer - But dont blame me if you mess it up, wreck your bike and maim/kill yourself.

Personally, i don't do wheelies because im too afraid of wrecking my pride and joy, and to be honest, i really dont think they are that cool, but each to his own...

If I can wheelie my CG125, you can wheelie an NSR.

1st gear, full revs, dump clutch.

Probably not healthy though, and make sure you keep the bars straight when you hit the ground.

By dumping the clutch on a bike you can wheelie almost anything.

Here's the secret if you are still having trouble.

When you let the clutch out it is natural for your throttle hand to lower the revs a bit. You just cannot help it! Once you realise this, then you can make sure you keep those revs up as you dump the clutch and up it comes...

Have fun.. Watch out for your L plate, number plate and back lights, it's so easy to bust them off while wheelieing a smaller bike..
