Yep... only was a matter of time till I was going to come off the bike, arsehole in a 4x4 not looking pulling out of a junction. I braked sharply and the front wheel locked up and the bike droped on its left side hard to make it worse my leg was under the bike while it slid for about 5-10 metres.

Bike Damage:-

whole left side fairings cracked and scratched, left wing mirrior somewhere on the road.

My Damage:-

Not as bad as my bike bruses all down my left side, knee has a bad gash.

well it looks its time to custom my bike now.. its looking like a total mess Sad

Sorry but this is why I havent posted on this forum for awhile, poor observation? please explain when the 4x4 was at a set of GIVE WAY lines and im on the main road. Yes I saw it, the question is did he/she see me.

So next time before blaming the rider which in your words you have. Its the other road users that need better observation otherwise My bike would still be in nice condition.

Oh and just to add, if I'm in the wrong here which you have stated why didnt the fucker in the 4x4 stop? enough said.

I think the "Poor Observation" is a Visordown comment for when people come off in situations like this. However, there is some truth in that.

I'm definately not saying you are to blame however.

Did the 4x4 driver stop?

Glad you are not too badly hurt and good luck getting the bike sorted Thumbs Up

Yes it's clearly the 4x4s fault, but that's not to say that better observation on your part wouldn't have prevented the accident. Had you been thinking 'What if he comes out?' you would have noticed him coming forward, you would have a faster reaction time as you were ready for it, and as a result you probably would have panicked less and not locked it up. Had you been more aware of him, there's a smaller chance of you crashing, but it's never completely eliminated, which is why it wasn't your fault by any means.

It's the old rule - you must assume that everyone on the roads is out to kill you. That way, you're prepared to anything. Act, don't react. Laughing I hate that phrase. Thumbs Up

Sounds like the 4X4 shouldn't have pulled out, though i'm sorry to say it was your fault you ditched your bike. My front has locked up a few times, and it really isnt nice. You have my sympathy as far as ditching the bike goes, but it wasnt the other driver's fault you went down the road.
