opinion for TL1000

can someone tell about TL1000 . I am thinking about this bike for next season but no one can tel me how god (or bad) it is.
I think TL is like poor people ducati. Thats why I like them!
Now I riding a heavy honda cb1000 but want to change them to more sporting bike.

I know of someone who bought one and it blew up.
Apparently there is a common problem on them that shows up at 20000miles or something but i cant remember what it is.
There can also be problems with 2nd gear i think.

Wasn't the TL slatted by the pro bike lads for crap cornering ability?

It was known to tank slapper a bit when really pushed, but there are various ways around this.

Always fancied a TL-S, for a kinda getting from A-B boring bike, but with a bit of fun thrown in.

If you sort the handling, it should be faster than most ducatis, engine wise definitely.

I still have interest about V twin bikes. Now I am looking more info about Honda`s VFR or RC51. As it known Honda (the brand) must be better than Suzuki Wink

Do any have some expierence with this bike?
