I've got my heart set on one of these. I've checked various websites and they all say it churns out around 30bhp. I've considered the DR350, but there is something about it that makes me go "yuck". They also look like they're really heavy.

The torque range on the XR is where i'd like it to be (real kick in the low end and mid range), so power wheelies shouldn't be a problem Very Happy. I'd like it to sit comfortably at about 60mph (I wont use it for motorways) will it do both of the above?

I start work on satuarday and will try and get in as much overtime as I can. So price wise, i'm looking at about £1500 - £2000. If I can get my old man to chip in, I might be able to stretch that to £2500 - £2750.

(I'll be going in for my advanced asap).

Cheers!

XR400 isn't fast, but they seem to be decent enough bikes, they'll probably power wheely but definetly clutch up with no problems.

If you're looking for it as a road bike I'd go for a 600/650.

Incidentally, my DR600 didn't do great power wheelies.

There's a lot of difference between a 400 enduro and a 400mx bike.

I'm not too keen on the 600/650. Again, I think they look a bit bulky and i'm going to be on a 33bhp restriction remember!

I'll either de-cork the can on slap a race pipe on it (I can't stand quiet bikes).

I want to be able to use the bike for a bit of off roading but mainly for in town, A/B road use (no motorways, that's what cars are for).
