It's now official, I am a cowboy.
Last night took my SV out for a ride. Was sitting at some traffic lights, chatting away as you do.
Lights go green, I panic, pull away, shift into second and pull my first ever wheely. Yeah ha Laughing Laughing

Then this morning coming to work on my Bandit. A car pulled across in front of me, so I break (in the rain).
Back wheel locks, swings out to the right about 45 degrees Sick , catches, then swings 90 degrees to the left. Sick Sick

Amazinly I manage to keep up right. Cool

nice one with the wheely. congrats

as for the slide, be careful, going down hurts!! (you'd probably guessed that) now all you need to do is buy some spurs and a hat! maybe a six shooter!

Someone's got a panicking problem!

I find there are two type of people - those who panic in a situation like your sliding incident, and those who don't panic at all but act purely on instinct. It tends to be the 'instinct' ones who don't die, so my advice is work on your emergency stop, don't use your front brake much in the rain (you clearly didn't with all that fishtailing Razz ). Oh and the instinct people may be less likely to die, but if they don't work on the braking too, they'll end up dead.

But the wheelie was just a case of over enthusiasm. Mr. Green

There is no such thing Laughing

And the fishtailing was probably more to do with my front pads needing dire replacement (Which I will now be doing this weekend)

Cant be that much of a panica if you saved it, sounds like it got right out of shape, Somtimes accidents just happen, if you didn't press the brake hard enough you probly would of hit the back of the car. Well done and keep alert like that in the future
