As I am doing safety driving/riding committee member(*) in my company, I wanna ask you what was wrong in this movie.
I think foregoing rider was most guilty for not thinking of following rider.

Was the bikers fault. He/She shouldn't have tried to overtake at a junction hope they were ok though. ____________________ Current; 10' Aprilia Dorsoduro 750.

I would agree that the following rider should have obviously been more carefull, but on the other hand it didnt look like the car indicated either ! so was also partly to blame ____________________ **************Honda CBR 600 FR***********

Its the riders fault.
If you look carefully on the right of the picture as the oofending bike comes up behind the 4x4 you'll see a sign which indicates that the road bends to the left ahead.
Then on the point of contact look at the road markings, the yellow markings continue unbroken around the bend.
Thats why i do my job............it keeps me observant. |

the rider we were onboard with was clearly to blame there, overtaking at a t-junction is never a good idea, and it wasnt even a t junction, it was a left hand bend, overtaking there was lunacy. The first rider should have received a good bollocking for his maneouver, but the one we were with was 100% to blame for ramming the lexus.

I felt a hesitation of following rider one moment before passing.
When I ride alone, I can be safe, but I can't be safe enough when I'm doing mass touring.I often think "I must catch up with him" and
be dangerous. I understood the followers mental.
Are you riding bike with blue light turning signal |

Yes he overtook on a left hand bend, not a masively band thing in this country, but as they are on the wrong side of the road thats like overtaking on a right hand bend in this country...stupid!
The bike in front clearly didnt see that the road turned left and he just darted down the turning and the second bike tried to follow. This is shockingly easy to do, i've done it a couple of times now.
100% the bikers fault, however a suggestion to improve the road layout and signage would be a good idea |

Look at the road markings, it looks to me that the double yellow line is sweeping to the left as does the road at that point. Main road continues left, side road straight on. Tuff call on the overtake though as there were a lot of junctions there.
A bit more caution on the riders point, but it is his/her fault |
