Nitro are alright from what I've heard... Quite good for the price.

Don't get commited to a brand though... Buy whatever fits your head instead... If you can't afford one that fits you, don't ride at all! Smile

Best off asking a shop assistant to fit one for you:)

just go around a few bike shops, try on everything and see what fits you best, if you like the takachi helmets you can get the tk110 on ebay for about £50 (i think its about £140 at the shops and is a proper racing lid) well worth the money.
good luck and hope you get something you like aswell as something that fits Thumbs Up
for the record if you havent brought a lid before make sure its so tight that it pulls your ears off when you take it off and it pushes your cheeks into your mouth so far that you bite on your cheeks every time you go over a bump in the road Twisted Evil trust me helmets do give alot over the first 7 months Thumbs Up

( Just wondering ) Can moto-X helmets be worn on a road bike, like are they legal to ride on the roads?

They are legal, you just need to use some eye protection aswell when using them.
