Fancy coming up to Watlington in the Chiltern Hills near Oxford on Saturday 1st October for some offroad fun? There's a (free) basic motocross track as well a miles of trails, something for all skills levels. I'm actually giving plenty of notice this time too, though obviously it depends on the weather... Razz

So, who's interested?

Directions: The place is here, coming from London you exit the M40 at Junction 6, at the end of the slip road turn left onto
the B4009 and go for about 30 meters before seeing an entrance to a farm track on your left. Take the farm track (tarmac)
until you hit a cross roads with a muddy lane (The Ridgeway) and park up. The motocross track is a 150 meters along the
ridgeway on the other side of the M40, there's a tunnel to get under the motorway to it.

As I said, it depends on when I get dragged into town on my birthday celebrations. As long as they don't clash I might make it down.

In the third pic along I have got a really knackered GPR70 on the front and GPR80 rear, I think.

There was some front end issues, but providing you abuse the rear and don't try and lean too much without a berm you should be fine. If it's muddy, don't bother with the trails though. Got about 30meters and then had a feck load of trouble just turning around!

I am going up to Weston on the Sunday, providing I don't break myself playing here... Razz

The location is linked in the first post, just off J6 of the M40. If it's fairly dry supermoto road tyres will be ok as it's hard pack ground, only turns to mud if the rain comes down for a long while.

I was thinking about meeting for say 1pm, how's that?

Not going to make it I'm afraid. I haven't got the XLR started yet and I'm going out on the piss quite early.
