Hi guys, seeing as my nephew seems to have forgot to put a post up about his bandit, I thought I would as he is away for the weekend on a pools booze up, (lucky sod, lol)

Anyway he has a Bandit 400 V 94ish, and I noticed yesterday that when he is idling he has a noise coming from the left side of the engine at the rear, its there when he has the clutch out and when he pulls it in it goes quieter I thought first it went altogether but it seems to be there but quieter.

Any ideas` ????

Cheers

Taz

Clutch basket so I was told. A standard thing on a lot of bikes apparently. You can hardly hear the exhaust over my clutch noise. Laughing

Sounds like clutch rattle to me too. Should be on the right hand rear end of the engine as you sit on the bike.

Most Suzukis have a bit of clutch rattle, I'm surprised you've not noticed it on your 750 (going by your sig.)

Unless it sounds like death, don't worry.

so its nowt to worry about then, the clutch basket etc, cheers

Guest I have noticed various different noises on mine but I put that down to the lack of a water jacket to keep things quiet,
