Which ratings give the most Karma? Or is it all equal?? Karma

And does Karma automatically increase over time?

I don't think Korn will ever disclose that, it's pretty obvious that Abusive, Flame & Spam have a larger effect on Karma than disagree, boring etc..

I think Helpful is probably the more potent positive Karma rating, but that's not really the point of it. Only rate it as helpful if it is helpful etc..

No Karma doesn't appear to increase over time.

I was just wondering because you see some users that have been on less amount of time and have really good karma, even though I spell and use grammar properly.

You also see some new users that have a lot more karma after their first post than others have after their tenth.

That's just because the karma system liked thier post - I meant to add when neither have had ratings.


Remember, karma is also effected by how your rating of other posts and all sorts of other butterfly-in-china style things Smile.
