I went to have a look at one of these

https://zx-10r.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=7299&stc=1

Wish I hadn't now. Said I'd never have a black bike again as they are so hard to keep looking good. It was so nice though.

Felt a lot roomier than my old RR as well, and the dealer offered me a good price straight away. Didn't even get down to the serious haggling.

Hmmm......

Fug me, that's a sexy machine in black. Very Happy

Is it an import or is that a new colour for 06? The Kwak website only has green, blue or titanium for the 6R.

I'd be more worried about getting used to 155hp at the rear wheel and going everywhere at warp 9 Smile.

Thats a US bike, you can tell by the reflectors on the side of the bike and it also has the stick out indicators, the UK bike has flush ones.

Yeah the UK bike does have flush indicators, and the black is new for 2006 - that's why I was surprised to see it at the dealer's.

I got to admit the black did do it for me, I really liked the black swingarm. Plus, the gold bits looked better against the black. Whack on a nice carbon Akrapovic can and voila.

I've just realised - I'm a tart Mr. Green

The extra 36cc helps give the bike a meatier midrange. My RR was all top end - 10-15k revs, with absolutely nothing below 7k.

Apparently, the 636 has quite a bit more mid range, which will be nice for when I'm feeling a bit lazy.
