Are the pictures a crashed bike? Might have been worth getting a bit closer; just looks like a pile of rubbish beside the road tbh.

<edit>ok I get it it's a floral tribute</edit>

Is the completely white box ,where the pic is supposed to be, the light at the end of the tunnel when going to heaven? Obviously after our completely reckless, unthinking attitudes to riding of course.Twisted Evil Middle Finger

The community here know the risks and the emotional stress's it can put on your family. If you managed to grasp the concept of the search button you would have found countless topics on safety, safety gear and better aproaches to cornering etc safely, before trying to thrust this rubbish down our throats. Rolling Eyes

If you dont try to be patronising/condescending you wont get such a bad reaction from us...or maybe im justa grumpy arsehole, who knows.
I think if you ask Mr Blair or the EU they will have a job lined up for you .....trying to get us off the roads completely.

Oh and learn how to use grammar.

Welcome to the forum Btw,

Hi

Factually the roads are far safer than they were 20 years ago (OK, not much improved in the past decade).

Also quite obvious on commonly travelled roads that the little floral tributes keep getting refreshed as the years go by. Not more accidents, just the same people laying fresh flowers.

Floral tributes beside the road seem to have come into fashion in the last 10 years, so hardly surprising that they have increased in number.

All the best

Keith

Well unless you know personally what went on at every single floral tribute site then I dont think you can comment on that. They are not all caused by bike accidents, theres car accidents, people hit by cars, murders! Rolling Eyes
