i'm removing my HT leads to replace them.. and 2 of them snapped inside the ignition coil... how can i get them out?


i've searched but found nothing

Find a drill bit a wee bit bigger than the inside of the lead and using vicegrips/pliers waggle it out. B&Q it.
Or buy a new coil.
Might need to remove some bits for access.

Hi

From memory I cannot remember if they can be removed on the FZR. If they can then they normally just twist onto what basically looks like a self tapping screw poking out of the side of the coil. Try using a pair of needle nose pliers to twist the remain.

i got the leads out... and new ones in (so they can be replaced), bu i think i got 2 plug caps on the wrong plugs...

got it all back together... went to start it just misses on every rotation so looks like i'm going to have to redo the leads when i geta free day :@
