Hey guys, can anyone tell me if the nsr is supposed to have a fuel filter, only mine hasn't and I can't be sure if the previous owner has removed it or not.

Also, sometimes when the bike has been sitting, it is difficult to start, turns over and splutters occasionally before starting and running normally. Any experts got any ideas as to what I can do to make it sweet?

you've got a filter in the tank , with the tap and a strainer at the fuel entry on the carb . if you have difficulties to start it's probably because your slow jet is a 38 , fit a 42 . at this occasion you can fit also a main 138 and a power 65 . you may re-set the pilot screw after that .
