Hi,

When I get a ZXR400, will I be able to change the wheels for a different design, I don't like the 3-spokes.

Are there any wheels that will fit on from other bikes?

Or aftermarket ones?

Thanks,
Matt

There are companies that do aftermarket wheel but they are pointless, very bling and the ones I have seen (for a ZX6R) were £1500.

Well at £1500 I don't think it's worth paying that for a little extra style. I could do so much else with the cash!

Thanks anyway!

So nobody knows any bikes with non-3-spoke wheels that will bolt on?

Thanks,
Matt

No wheels will bolt striahgt on without spacers I don't think.

3 spokes are well cool, dunno why you'd change them. Confused

Hi

Doubt you will get any that are a direct bolt on replacement. If really lucky you might manage to fit some from a late ZX6R with some fiddling.

Aftermarket ones are possible such as these but the prices start high and go up (£2050 for a pair of carbon wheels).

All the best

Keith

££££

Not worth it at all. Just get them powder coated instead.

Not sure mate (probably overkill). Get someone to photoshop it. Maybe just get them done black (again) and put some red rim tape on them. Thats what I'm thinking of doing.

Black hides the dirt. Wink

What could I fit with spacers then?

I just don't like the look of having 3 spokes, just my taste I suppose. I'm not really bothered but if I can get some secondhand wheels from some other bike with 5+ spokes that would fit then I would do it.

ZX6R wheels will fit with spacers. Dunno where you get them tho. Confused

Plus they arn't the same size so might mess handling up a little.
