Hello

I have recently picked up a 94 import NSR 125 (phase 2 I think). The bike belonged to a friend who said he did a load of work to the engine (new seals, piston etc) but now it wont start properly or run. From looking at is myself I can tell the following:

1 - it does have petrol in the tank
2 - the Spark plug is new and does work
3 - The battery is strong and turns the bike over well
4 - I do Not think that the petrol is making it to the Spark plug

i have never been near a bike before and could really use some advice, I think it is a fuel starvation problem stopping it starting and a idle problem when is does eventually start. But I do not know how to adjust either of these.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

for 99% it's the fuel valve stocked in the carb . download the workshop manual https://www.geneva-racing.com/~alains/NSRmanualDOC.zip
