i am looking to find some information on how to fit restictors in a XJ600, and what parts are needed (washers). want to find out not to fit them but to find out if my bike is restricted as i have my suspisions that it maybe

Check the Inlet Manifold, there is usually a washer inside. My zzr600 is restricted and that is the only restriction on it. But you have to bear in mind the diversion is not the quickest bike in the world.

Take off the fuel tank, air box and then the carburettors.

Look into the rubber inlet manifolds for washers.

Divvy 600s arent fast but theyre not slow either. It should crack teh ton easily and top out at 115 or so.

well my divvy 600 does an indicated 120-125 top end so i reckon a 110-115 true isn't out of the question.
