Milky Quale won the 2002 400TT on that exact setup!
So it must work!

I have heard of it being done alot, but I wouldn't know who to do it.

why dont you sell it and get a rvf400 which already has usd forks ?

home bodges arent gonna be as good as something designed for the job.

rvf 400 forks go on nicely as well, i've seen a very nice hm plant rep cbr with rvf forks.

Colinwall - cbr600 shocks weren't designed for 400's but theyre a good improvement over stock.

if it were me id still get a rvf400 if i wanted usd forks on a 400.

switching forks around sounds like more hassle than selling a bike and buying another one.

It may be possible to put the forks on a 600 on a 400 but the geometry will be different so it will change the way the bike handles. This sort of thing is best left to people who know what they are doing rather than bodging it.

On threads like this someone once said, if you need to ask you wont get it to work. Usually on the engine x in bike y type of question.
