Whats your budget

If you have a JS accessories near by try them,

I got my Alpinestars GPS-3 Boots from there for £99, There a great boot warm and waterproof, they've even got toe sliders on them.

Ride magazine recomend them aswell.

I tell you £99 is cheap for those boots the RRP for them is £139.99 so they were dirt cheap.

Forgot to add they are really comfortable aswell

You can usually get some decent waterproof boots for around £50 - £70. They will look alright but wont be on the same level as a Sidi or a A* Wink

No there isn't as far as i know, their website has them on it

https://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/hermes/shop/2,1,100

and the price has dropped they are now £79.99 + £7 postage

Sorry thats just the bog standard GPS boot, still waterproof, just no toe sliders.

Hope that helps

If you want protection, you need to try them on first. An ill fitting boot can cause more problems.

THey have plenty cheaper ones there too; just browse the online shop.

On the (very) cheap:

They're usually about £60-70+ in shops. I have ones very much like them. Very good, comfy, warm and waterproof. Feel secure too.

Do be aware that they don't need to be the newest all-singing, all-dancing fancy plastic covered things. I've fallen off and had incidents multiple times from machines of various sizes, all wearing my £70 Heine Gericke plain black leather boots. They've done the job every time, preventing me from getting broken feet at least once.

Being waterproof is a distinct advantage, as wet feet will piss you off almost as much as wet balls. Up until that point, you can just change your outer clothes, after that point you need a shower and a change of underwear to recover.

Its been just recently that ive decided on boots bacause the laces on ma trainers burst from changing gears and riding to work it was pouring down and i had to suffer the whole day like a drenched rat Most of all it was ma feet that were bothering me.

Later on that day i went out to victor devine honda and got waterproof trousers and looked at boots but they were expencive which lead me to this topic Surprised

i got hein gericks cheapest boot new, but now i would get something off ebay

the hein gerick boots are great though

why not get some 2nd hand hein gerick boots off ebay ?

i prefer black leather biker boots to red plastic racebike boots with lots of sticky out bits.

some people like wearing paraboots but their laces come undone. better to have hein gerick boots which arent much more

The only thing ive done to my bike is the Caron look arrow indicators, rim stickers and that cheap carbon look sticker from halfords for over the gages looks quality when done good. better than that foam.

Need to get asmall patcch on my fuel tank resprayed though. Liek an idiot i let my fuel go down to far, an on the way to the petrol station i ran out, so i had to push it the rest of the way and my Zip scratched the paint Embarassed

Cool when you get some pictures with the rim tape on pm them to me.

You could get some black touch up paint to go over the scratch, would be cheaper than getting the tank re-sprayed

I know a re-sprayer who has sorted a couple of things for ma bro's cars and his pals, so hopefuly he gives me a good deal Smile.

I dont want to just get touch up coz it looks a bit cheapish. Im hoping that he can just sand that bit away then fill it and spray it, like without doing the whole tank. If you know what im toking about, lol.

Stu

P.s. ill wash my bike tomorrow or saturday and get the digi out and take some pics
