Who saved my licence this morning on the A406! He saw the speed taliban camera van on top of a bridge whilst we were both going for it.... he saw it, slowed down and warned me. I didn't even notice it til we were right under it.

Well played that man!

Must have been about 25 to 9 or thereabouts? Was going towards Henleys corner from New Southgate, just before the East Finchley exit.

I go to work in the opposite direction towards Wood Green.

Never seen any vans on that bridge on the way home, gonna have to watch out for that!!

Another dodgy one is when patrol cars sit in BP next to the East Finchley exit (towards wood green) they try to catch you speeding down the hill just before that camera!

Also the other week, a patrol car was sitting up on the roundabout where the A41 crosses the north circ next to Brent Cross. Again trying to catch people before they slow down before the camera under the bridge!

KEEP THOSE EYES PEELED! Shocked Shocked

I use the A406 from New Southgate, all the way to Chiswick and back, everyday, I hate it! So apart from the fixed speed camera's, the heavy traffic, the drivers who don't even know what day it is, the poor weather, we've now gotta look out for camera van's... need eyes in the back of my head!

...tell me about it! I used to work in Chiswick and the traffic on the way is crazy, tight lanes at some points!

Now i use the A406 from Neasden to Edmonton everyday (..well except weekends if i can help it). It has to be the most dreary road ever! Only about 20mins good day or 35mins bad day.

The other annoying thing is on some sections the road is so tight, its a pain to filter!

I used to drive the same journey what a nightmare! Is bad enough by bike, let alone being stuck in Traffic CONSTANTLY!!

I'm surprised I've not seen you! Takes me around 40 mins in rush hour, the same journey in a car takes no less than 90 mins on a good day......

Mo, your scootay isn't fast enough to be done for speeding Wink

Today I was cruising along the Embankment at 40-45mph (limit 30mph Embarassed ), and at the usual place at the Royal Hospital, there was a speed trap. Did I get caught? Of course not, an oncoming police motorcyclist warned me about his colleagues! Cool
