Well, not the starter motor itself, but the flywheel does not turn when the ignition switch is pressed. The motor turns fine, and I've had it in pieces today. The gears do not line up between the motor pinion and the flywheel, and so I can't figure out how it's meant to operate. I've looked at the schematics and can't see any part missing, worn or otherwise faulty. Any suggestions?

Well the starter motor is now turning the engine over, but there's no spark. I reckon either the CDI or the ignition coil is wankered. Bloody NSR electrics Mad Laughing
